MidMountain Masquerade

Join us October 25, 2025 from 2pm through 10pm for a seasonal community celebration filled with opportunities to make your own masks and marionettes, shared meals, a masquerade with costume contest, and (of course) more live music reclaiming murder ballads.

We suggest a donation of $15-50 for adult tickets, but children are free and no one will be turned away due on the day of the event due to lack of funds. However, we are limited by permitting to 150 tickets and an early donation locks in your spot!

MAIN STAGE SCHEDULE:

• 2:15pm-2:30pm Festival Welcome from River & Betsy

• 2:30pm Open Mic Sign Ups Start

• 3pm - Witches Dance

• 3:25pm - Historical Panel with River & Rockbridge Historical Society's Eric Wilson

• 3:45pm-4:45pm Open Mic - sign ups available starting at 2:30pm

• 4:55-5:15 Dawning

• 6pm-6:45pm Saprozoic

• 7pm-7:45pm Harli Saxon

• 7:45 Light the Bonfire!

• 8:20pm-9pm Betsy from Mars

• 9pm Announce costume contest winners and switch to DJ Harley Lucado

• 10pm EVENT ENDS

• 2-4pm Writing Workshop in the barn with Sarah Gill and Kimberly Wolf

• 2-5:30pm Rockbridge Regional Library Bookmobile on site

• 2-7pm Community-building through Ritual and Pageantry Exhibit on display

• 2-7pm Contribute to the creation of a cryptid burn we will burn in the bonfire

• 2-6pm Crafting stations in the Barn with mask-making & puppet-making 

• 2-10pm Sarah Marie Hughes art installation on display

• 4-4:30pm Apple Orchard walk and discussion with Sal Dockery

• 5-7pm Potluck on offer

• October 22, 6-9pm: Craft night and Concert Night featuring Endless Mike and the Beagle Club, Harli Saxon, and F.W. Willis at MidMountain Retreat, 338 Arnolds Valley Rd, Natural Bridge Station, VA 24579. ($10-20 suggested donation, no one turned away due to lack of funds.)
